Video: Boondock Saints 2 Trailer

Well, it looks like the the sequel to the original cult classic of 1999 has finally been made. There has been rumors of this thing for years but I guess it's really done.

At first glance it looks like this new one could be a big piece of shit, and since I am currently reading Malcom Gladwell's, Blink, I have learned to go with my first impression. Or, that's what I get from the book so far. I am only 40 pages into it. Don't ruin it for... as if it was a M. Night Shyamalan and you could ruin some sort of twist. That would make these Gladwell books better though. Imagine you read a whole bok on all these case studies and all this material based on scientific research, and in the last chapter it is revealed that truly, Bruce Willis is dead.

Anyways, back to the subject on hand. Here is the trailer.

The biggest problem of this movie appears to be no Willem Dafoe. He stole the first movie as the, Prancing Gay Super Detective with an affinity for theatrics as he discussed the clues. Now, instead of good ole gay Dafoe, we have Hollywood adding a little jiggle to the fray, with an attractive female detective.

This whole argument might be mute though, because I can't remember if Dafoe died in the first one. I don't think he did. Did he? hmmmm. Ahhh, who the fuck cares, dead or alive this new one is worse off without him.
