Artie Lange vs Joe Buck
Oh man, I thought Joe Buck Live on HBO was going to be the worst sports related show in the history of everything. And for the first half of the show I was correct. There were awful comedy sketches and an interview with Brett Favre that was more rehearsed than Bruno 69ing Eminem.
But then that all changed as Joe Buck introduced a panel of three comedians. There was Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, and a Mr. Fucking Artie Lange. Guess which one made Buck cry? I have always been on the fence about Artie but after what you're about to watch, I am so over the fence and kicking it with Artie.
Artie, I love you. In one interview you put Joe Buck in his fucking place, you trashed on TMZ and you hated on the Cowboys.
Favorite moment by far is Joe Buck's face at the 30 second mark. Right after Artie asks if Joe Buck's second favorite website after TMZ is suckingcock.com. Go back and look at it. He slowly turns his head and bites his thumb and at that moment the pompous rich kid who has had everything handed to him, the son of a legend, a baseball announcer that tries to do football, a huge fucking douchebag, realizes that he has lost total control. This proves to me that this isn't fake. No way Buck is this good of an actor.
Maybe it wasn't a good idea to have Artie on HBO. A network where a star like Artie isn't hogtied by the FCC.
It still aint over. Now they do an after show online called Overtime. This is probably the most awkwardly uncomfortable (Keyboard Cat anyone?) of the three videos. No one is safe. Artie goes after Sudeikis and even Michael Irvin chimes in with a "It's great to see white on white crime." I also have to hand it to Buck. He does get in a few good jabs and he did stick around to do this extra session eventhough he obviously wanted it to end.
